WWE arcade machines

Updated Oct 1, 2026 · By Retro Field Guide research team

Two home machines in our listings play WWE wrestling games, and Arcade1Up makes both. The WWE Counter Series is an 8-inch countertop unit at $184.99 on sale, and the WWE WrestleFest Ultra Series is a 5-foot, 2-player cabinet at $549.99, both on Arcade1Up's store as of October 1, 2026. Both were available to order that day.

The WWE machines compared

Both carry WrestleFest, Super Stars, The Big Pro Wrestling! and Super Dodgeball. The Ultra adds Acrobatic Dog-Fight and has dual joysticks. Its page says some characters were removed from WrestleFest and Super Stars "due to current licensing restrictions," so the rosters may not match the arcade originals.

The Ultra's price rose from $499.99 to $549.99 between our September 30 and October 1 checks.

What to check before you buy

• Size. The Counter Series sits on a table. The Ultra needs a floor spot about 24 by 19 inches and 61.5 inches of height. See countertop machines and upright cabinets.
• Players. The Ultra states 2 players; the Counter Series states 1.
• Licensing label. The Counter Series shows "Licensed, licensor named" (WWE): its page sells the games under the WWE brand. The Ultra shows "Official titles named, licensor not stated": its page names the games but no licensor. See licensing labels.
• Availability. Arcade1Up's stock and prices move often. It changed hands in December 2025; see is Arcade1Up discontinued.

We cover new machines only and do not price original cabinets.

The original game

Technōs Japan developed and released WWF WrestleFest for arcades in 1991, as the sequel to its 1989 WWF Superstars (Wikipedia, checked October 1, 2026). For another head-to-head fighter on Arcade1Up cabinets, see Mortal Kombat arcade machines.
