Mortal Kombat II machines

"Mortal Kombat 2 arcade machine" is searched more than the series name. Two of the three put Mortal Kombat II on the marquee: the Countercade, a 7-inch countertop unit that runs on batteries or micro-USB, and the Deluxe, a 2-player upright with a 17-inch screen and Wi-Fi online play per Arcade1Up's page. The UMK3 Supreme carries 14 games with a 19-inch screen and "professional-grade" controls in the maker's words.

What to check before you buy

  • Size. The Countercade fits on a desk. The Deluxe needs about 20 by 24 inches of floor and 61 inches of height. See countertop machines and upright cabinets.
  • Players. Mortal Kombat is a head-to-head fighter, so two control sets matter. Only the Deluxe page states 2 players in our listings; check the others with Arcade1Up.
  • Licensing label. All three show "Official titles named, licensor not stated": the pages name the games but not the company that licensed them. See licensing labels.
  • Availability. As of October 1, 2026, the Countercade and Deluxe were available on Arcade1Up's store and the Supreme was coming late 2026. Arcade1Up's catalog is changing after Basic Fun acquired select assets of the company in December 2025 (The Toy Book, Dec 16, 2025).

We add a listing only when we can source it, so this page may stay short. We cover new machines and do not price original cabinets.

The original game

Midway released Mortal Kombat in arcades in 1992 and Mortal Kombat II in 1993 (Wikipedia: Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, checked October 1, 2026). For the other big fighter of that era, see Street Fighter II arcade machines.
