There are no accounts, logins or newsletters. The site does not set cookies of its own.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google receives the page address without its query string or fragment, so finder and wizard choices are not sent, along with standard browser details. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (for example _ga). No advertising tracker is loaded. You can block analytics with your browser’s settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
The finder and the wizard
Filtering happens in your browser. Your choices may appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share them, but they are not sent to us or to Google Analytics.
Corrections and email
The correction form is delivered by Basin, a form service, which emails it to us. It sends only what you type into the form. We use your email address, if you give one, only to reply. We keep messages as long as we need them to handle the correction.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser details, for security and operations.
Links to other sites
Listings link to makers, retailers and marketplaces. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
