OutRun arcade machines

Updated Oct 1, 2026 · By Retro Field Guide research team

Two home machines in our listings play OutRun, and Arcade1Up makes both: the OutRun Deluxe Series at $499.99 on sale and the OutRun Supreme Series at $629.99, on Arcade1Up's store as of October 1, 2026. Both have a steering wheel and gas and brake pedals. Neither could be ordered that day: the Deluxe was sold out and the Supreme was coming in October.

The OutRun machines compared

The two share four SEGA driving games: OutRun, Turbo OutRun, OutRunners and Power Drift. The Supreme adds Rad Rally, a taller 67-inch cabinet, a 19-inch screen and light-up buttons. The Deluxe has a 17-inch screen, dual speakers and a light-up marquee. Arcade1Up gives $599.99 as the Deluxe's compare-at price.

The Supreme's price rose from $599 to $629.99 between our September 30 and October 1 checks. Costco listed it at $629.99 on September 30, and Arcade1Up's page says it will be in Costco stores.

What to check before you buy

• Size. The Supreme stands 67 inches. Arcade1Up does not give width or depth for either cabinet on the pages we read, so ask before you plan the floor space, and leave room for the pedals. See upright cabinets.
• Players. The Deluxe states 1 player. The Supreme page does not state a count.
• Licensing label. Both show "Licensed, licensor named" (SEGA). Each page credits SEGA for the games. See licensing labels.
• Availability. Watch the Supreme's October date and the Deluxe's restock. Arcade1Up changed hands in December 2025; see is Arcade1Up discontinued for the warranty.

We cover new machines only and do not price original sit-down or upright OutRun cabinets.

The original game

Sega released OutRun in arcades in September 1986 (Wikipedia, checked October 1, 2026). For another SEGA game on Arcade1Up's Deluxe and Supreme cabinets, see Sonic arcade machines.
