NBA Jam arcade machines

One NBA Jam home machine is in our listings: Arcade1Up's NBA Jam Countercade, a 7-inch countertop unit at $129.99 on Arcade1Up's store as of October 1, 2026. Is the full-size NBA Jam machine still available? Arcade1Up's NBA Jam Deluxe 2-Player is listed as discontinued, so the Countercade is the one to look for new.

The NBA Jam machine in our listings

The Countercade's page names three games: NBA Jam, NBA Jam TE and NBA Hang Time. It runs on 4 AA batteries or micro-USB and has dual speakers and a light-up marquee. Walmart listed it at $149.99 on September 30, 2026, so Arcade1Up's own store was the cheaper seller at our checks.

What to check before you buy

• Size. It is a desk or counter machine about 13 inches tall. See countertop machines.
• Players. NBA Jam is a 2-on-2 game, but the Countercade page does not state a player count. Check the control layout on Arcade1Up's page if two people will play.
• Licensing label. "Official titles named, licensor not stated". The page names the games and mentions officially licensed cabinet artwork, but not the companies behind the license. See licensing labels.
• Availability. As of October 1, 2026, the Countercade was available on Arcade1Up's store. Arcade1Up's catalog is in flux after Basic Fun acquired select assets of the company in December 2025 (The Toy Book, Dec 16, 2025). Older NBA Jam cabinets resold by third parties are not listed here.

We add a listing only when we can source it, and we do not price original cabinets.

The original game

Midway released NBA Jam in arcades in 1993, followed by Tournament Edition (Wikipedia, checked October 1, 2026). Another Midway hit of the same era has its own page: Mortal Kombat arcade machines.
