About Pac-Man arcade machines
Updated · By Retro Field Guide research team
Nine home machines in our listings include Pac-Man. Arcade1Up makes four: the 7-inch Countercade, the 8-inch Jr Series, the full-height Deluxe and the taller Supreme. Bandai Namco Amusement America makes five Pac-Man's Pixel Bash cabinets, sold through game room dealers. Prices run from $149.99 to $3,999, and every machine also carries other Namco games such as Galaga or Dig Dug.
The split is plain. Arcade1Up machines cost hundreds and are sold to home buyers. The Pixel Bash cabinets cost thousands and come from Bandai Namco's amusement division. Arcade1Up's Pac-Man Neon Edition Deluxe is listed as discontinued, so it is not in the catalog.
What to check before you buy
Size. The Countercade sits on a counter at about 13 inches tall. The Deluxe and Supreme stand 5 to 5.5 feet, and the Coin-Op Upright 68 inches. The Bistro and the Cocktail are tables. See the countertop and upright pages.
Players. The Home Cabaret, Neon Cabaret and Cocktail state 2 players and the Jr Series states 1. The other pages do not state a count.
Licensing label. The Deluxe, the Supreme and all five Pixel Bash cabinets show "Licensed, licensor named" (Bandai Namco). The Countercade and the Jr Series show "Official titles named, licensor not stated". See how we label licensing.
Availability. As of October 1, 2026, the Countercade, Jr Series and Deluxe were available on Arcade1Up's store and the Supreme was coming soon. Two Pixel Bash cabinets are made to order. Each profile shows the status and the date we read it.
We cover new machines only, so we do not estimate what an old Pac-Man cabinet is worth.
The original game
Namco released Pac-Man in Japan in 1980, and Midway brought it to North American arcades the same year (Wikipedia, checked October 1, 2026). Its sequel lives on its own page: Ms. Pac-Man arcade machines. The same Namco catalog fills the Galaga and Dig Dug pages.
Also named in our research but not listed yet, because we have no full sourced record for them: Pac-Man Classic SE Arcade Machine; Pac-Man™ Neon Edition Deluxe Arcade.
