The seven we track cost $223.99 to $880, plus one UK kit at £472, and none of them includes a screen or a computer. Game Room Solutions, Rec Room Masters and the LEP1Customs cabaret kit prices are as of October 1, 2026; the rest were read September 30, 2026.
What "complete kit" means here
"Complete" means the cabinet is complete: panels cut and drilled, hardware in the box. It does not mean the machine is complete. Per each seller's page, most kits leave out the joysticks and buttons, and some leave out T-molding (Knockout Arcades says so). Every kit gets our "Bring your own games" label, because none includes games.

"Not stated" is a finding, not a gap we forgot to fill. Five of seven kits do not state tools, and none states a build time. Game Room Solutions is the most specific: "If you can do Ikea style, you can easily do this."
Flat-pack shipping
All seven arrive in pieces. Rec Room Masters ships by UPS Ground. ExtremeHardware's upright comes in two sections. Flat packs fit through doors that an assembled upright (about 66 to 69 inches tall in this group) might not; the cabaret kit is 54 inches tall. Six of the seven state MDF or melamine panels; Rec Room Masters does not state its material.
What to add, and what it costs
Budget for a screen, a computer and controls on top of the kit price. Game Room Solutions lists its own add-ons: a control kit from $59.99, a PC at $499.99 and a 32-inch monitor at $269.99. The LVL23PC leaves out the game device, monitor, speakers and power supply. Two-player control sets elsewhere start at $41.99 in arcade controls. Our build or buy guide adds up the totals.
